Tis a glorious day to honor our vets
and remember the declaration that said
We are a free people with God-given rights
to tyranny we'll not bow our heads
Tis a Hot, stormy day, this 4th of July
and many still wonder if we
are still proud as a people
of our leader and laws
are we still the land of the free?
Liberty is always journeying on
there is never an end to the cost
We must always be ready to answer all men
or our dearly bought freedom be lost
So let us stand strongly and bravely for cause
that we believe in heart's heart to be right
'gainst enemies out and temptations within
that our torch remain brightly alight
